Wow! Big picture (from the website)

My favorite place is called 'Akaka Fall'. (I took an image from Google.)
I love here very much.

How is your life?

My life is okay with jobs.
I enjoy my relaxing time; however, I feel something is missing!
I know that I have not gone to beach for awhile.
I need to make an action!

I started to think what I want to do.
Where I want to be and how I want to be.
Thinking and feeling my inside........ummmmm.

"Do not carry stress but be light!
And enjoy a moment (today)!!"

Yes, that is right. But, I know it needs to be balanced, always.

P.S. It is hard for me not to have my camera now.
I used to take pictures for the blog.
I become lazy that 'no picture no blog'.

Please be patient with me, and mahalo (thank you).

Aloha from long time!!!!

Aloha e all!!!!!
How are you and your lives?

I know I had a long vacation.
Now, I'm back here to start to write.

I lost my partner, camera....
I will post you my old pictures for awhile until I get new partner.

Now, I am so happy that I have three part-time jobs: teaching Japanese to children at a temple, helping at a family-owned bento store, and kitchen and clean stuff at a organic natural food store, of course, in Hilo.

I have a year work visa that allows me to work legally in the U.S. until the end of June, 2011.

For my a year period, I wanted to save money for my further education but realize that it is hard.

It will be my financial learning period to learn how to manage and survive myself on my own.

My good friend gave me a car!!!!!
It is old car (year 1991); but, it is my family now.

I'm going to leave my father's house to be really independent.
I'll post you about my new place later on.

Supporting myself, my car, accommodation, and so on will be my new challenge.
Thanks to my father that I have been supported long time from him.
Now, it is time for me to bloom my 25 year-old flower in a new land.

So far, I am doing well.
I really enjoy getting older and older.
You do not believe me? However, it is true.

I really want to find out myself to finish my kuleana (responsibility).

Intorducing Hilo

I have much free time now, so some of you notice that I have been posting here busily......

I would like to introduce Hilo where my father and I live.

Hilo has many 'ua (rain) and is in a tropical zone.

Hilo is basically greens.

This photo show a free public swimming pool center.

It is well managed.

At the Hilo bay, paddlers catch waves when the wave becomes bigger enough for them.

I tried paddling at a river (no wave catching), and it was fun!!
People can rent the paddling board for $20 per hour.

It, of course, has nice days as well in Hilo.
The Hilo bay was shinning in the morning.

Hilo area is good to relax.......

FREE

I like FREEDOM.

Without possesion and conrolling, everything can fly higher.

Freedom is a way to respect others and organisms.

Freedom gives no limit.

If we are free, we live just what it is.

It starts to accepting all you see with beauty, harmony, and enegy. At the end, it starts to feel appreciation of life.

It is amazing that many different lives have been born from bare lands.

Life I see gives me smiles.

Sometimes, I felt my loved passed ones (the lady I used to take care, Shiro, my grandmother, and etc....) are within me.

Sometimes I do not see a borderline of present and passed lives.

I just wanted to share with you my deep thoughts today.

Having a time for oneself

Please have time for yourselves....

When I think of my life, I have not treated myself well.

How I can do for other if I cannot support myself.

I have neglected myself, and in return, I am having hard time to hear and listen to my heart.

I do not know what I want to do, what I want to study, and what I like and dislike.

I lost myself.

I use my time for outside not inside of myself.

How empty I am.

Now, it is time for me to have myself and notice who I really am.

I have to re-back myself to this world.

Please my friends.....have time and take a good care for yourselves.

Otherwise, you will lose yourselves like me and realize nothing left on you.

Peaceful moment.

The societies become violent.

Have you watched a movie called "GATE"?

It is a documentary movie about nucler wepons.

In this film, one of peace-makers states, "War comes from our heart. What can we do as an individual?" He suggests that having a peaceful mind (heart) starts to brake wars and violence.

Please have a peaceful time in your lives.

Please enjoy the moment we have (I know sometimes it is hard to do, like I feel.).

Please love each other and be playful, like Shiro and Mana.

Life and Death

What is life?
What is death?

Why we die suddenly as if it was meant to be happened?
Why life comes up as if it was meant to be?

In 2010, I experienced and encounterd two big events: the death of Shiro and the lady who I used to take care for about 3 months.

This year will be a shifting year for me.
This year will be my turning point.
This year will be transforming year for us (my family).

These two events made me think what are life and death.

It is not easy to find answers.

Many people have helped me a lot through the processes of these big events.

Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much).

I start to think the meaning of my life.

One of monks I met taught us that things have reasons and results.
I believe that this phrase has many deep meanings.

Busy moment.....

I have been so so so busy. I believe that I made my life busy for weeks.

After the lady I used to take care passed away, I got much free time.

Sometimes, I walk along the Hilo bay.

It was at sunset. A big wide sky was turning to pink. Finally, we see a clear sky.
Hilo has been raining for weeks. The day was a good gift for us like me who have been starving of a clear sky.

Mauna Kea showed up. We have not seen the tall mountain for weeks. The summit is usually behind the clouds.

When Mauna Kea appears, it reminds us its size and power.

In Waimea (about 1 hour drive from Hilo) has a delicious bakery. The bread is baked in a big oven.

The inside of the bread is very soft but chewy, and the scorched outside is hard but tasty. I bought one that has nuts and a dried fruit in. It made me feel like heaven. I ate a big roll a day!

Hilo has a dolphin rescure center!!! It is a rehabilitation for injured dolphins.
We have only 1 pool now so far, so we can help only a dolphin.

We have four times training classes to be a volunteer. It is funded by NOAA and supported by volunteers.

I am keeping myself busy. I do not know but feel that there are many things I can do.

I still live in the bayshore towers.

I am now staying at a studio room by myself. She has more than one apartments at the tower.

I am very appreciate what I have for my housing.
